When you join Design Group as a Mechanical Project Engineer, you are joining a team that will challenge you and position you for growth. In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. What You’ll Do: Design or review mechanical systems including water, chilled water, HVAC, wastewater, cooling towers/condensers, boiler/steam, hot water, compressed air, and plumbing for manufacturing, distribution, and industrial and commercial facilities. Work with multidisciplinary project teams and interface with on-site project teams. Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise. What You’ll Bring: A minimum of three years of experience executing mechanical design on multi-disciplinary projects. The ability to complete mechanical system analysis, sizing, design, and report writing. Experience in the design of advanced technologies, life sciences, or facility/building mechanical systems including HVAC, water, chilled water/glycol, wastewater, clean rooms, and cooling towers/condensers. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. Revit experience (preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A willingness to relocate to the local area (relocation assistance is for qualified applicants). This will be a site-based role - 5 days a week. A Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited institution. A professional engineer (PE) license (preferred). Our culture and commitment to our people is what sets us apart.
