Intake Attorney (Criminal Defense)
position within a premier law firm with a lot of room for growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Intake Attorney to gain valuable experience and further their career with an established firm. As The Intake Attorney, you will report to the Supervising Intake Attorney, manage your caseload, and interact with clients while collaborating with our wonderful Criminal Defense Department team of attorneys and legal assistants.ResponsibilitiesMonitoring firm's case management software for live cases to vetReviewing intake sheets and documents from potential clientsIdentifying potential criminal cases for potential clientsSuggesting legal strategies and proposed services for potential clientsSpeaking to existing clients regarding potential services outside of their current contractAnswering legal questions from or explaining legal processes to potential and existing clientsCommunicating with and providing feedback to the sales team meeting with potential clientsOverseeing intake paralegals and virtual assistantsQualificationsAt least 1-5 years of Criminal Defense Law ExperienceA team player who is open to helping, strategizing, and working with your fellow associatesBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not requiredInterpersonal skills of the highest caliberRecord of moving legal cases forward and an ability to manage a caseloadExperience with criminal defense, intake, or post-conviction relief.Experience with Case Management Software is preferredPay Range: $85,000 to $120,000 annual salary, depending on experience.Here at The Matian Firm,
