Willingness to work weekendsHigh school diploma or GED preferred1 year

of experience in Powered Industrial Truck OperationActive forklift certification/license preferredKnowledge of SAP/ERP systems preferredExperience in a fast-paced, industrial environment using Lean manufacturing methodologiesSolid computer skills, including inventory software, Excel, and WordStrong safety aptitude with great attention to detail and accuracyHigh sense of urgency, with an initiative to meet deadlinesExceptional sound judgment and decision-making skillsProficient interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work alongside and communicate effectively with various levels of the companyAbility to perform required tasks while standing for the duration of the shift, lifting up to 35 pounds, climbing onto and off of lifts, walking long distances, being exposed to varying temperatures (non-climate-controlled environment), bending, crouching, twisting, and performing repetitive motionsWhat You'll Do as a Material Associate

Safely operate powered material handling equipment, such as sit-down forklifts, stand-up lifts, tuggers, and electric jacksLoad and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, baskets, and shelves manuallySupply parts to the assembly and machining departmentsMaintain line inventory to ensure no downtimeEnter information into SAP and other required systems accurately and efficientlySupport 5S and housekeeping activitiesUtilize appropriate deviation areas, hold tags, etc., to process defective parts through nonconforming material proceduresAdhere to FIFO standards throughout all storage areas and material flow pointsWear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow box-cutting safety protocolsPerform other tasks as assigned
