Twice a week those of us in the Bay Area come to our office located in the Financial District for All Hands, intense collaboration, brainstorming activities, and fun events. There are small rooms for 1-1 mentoring sessions or heads down work, and larger rooms for team activities. We continue to support a flexible work environment for all of life’s surprises and needs with generous time off and flexible daily work schedules.The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Product Manager (Sr PM) to lead our “Discovery Hub” product team. Our Discovery Hub team owns the “home experience” for both desktop and mobile. Your role will focus on determining how best to assemble and present the discovery hub experience to users to drive engagement. You’ll often leverage tools from other teams (such as our profiles, paper recommendations, and people recommendations teams), and figure out the correct arrangement of the various key actions and features that users must engage with to retain to our site.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategize, define, and prioritize the product roadmap for the Discovery Hub teamLead and coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, design, and dataIdeate and oversee the development, planning, and design of new features and techniques from concept to marketUtilize product metrics to guide decision-making and evaluate successCraft product requirements for MVPs and feature enhancementsContribute to the overarching product strategyDrive business impact; help us attract and retain our users!RequirementsMinimum 5 years of B2C online product management experienceProven expertise in working on B2C products serving millions of usersPrior work in social media or other B2C engagement-growth-focused product rolesExceptional communication skills, both written and oralTechnical understanding and ability to engage in high-level technical discussionsDemonstrated ability to make a significant business impactCustomer-centric approach with a knack for data-driven validationExtensive experience with A/B testingStartup experience is essentialNice to HavesExperience in Edtech or AcademiaA stint in growth-stage tech companies during a ‘high-growth’ periodPrevious experience working in growth (product) functions$190,000 - $240,000 a yearWe value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
