Hulu’s Marketing team is seeking a Senior Manager who will be an outstanding leader and addition to the team. You’ll be responsible for overseeing marketing strategy of the Hulu + Live TV product and leading key marketing campaigns that achieve brand, engagement, and acquisition goals. This role will manage a team focused on developing and executing marketing campaigns for our live TV and licensed content library. The role will require excellent leadership and communication skills, and a penchant for strategic and creative problem solving.The ideal candidate is a big-picture strategic thinker who loves TV (sports and entertainment), has a great attitude, exemplary organization skills, and ability to effectively delegate projects and stay proactive. [Knowledge and passion for sports is a must.] Partner marketing skills and knowledge of working with media, creative, and content teams is desired.In this role, you will work closely with many Hulu and The Walt Disney Company teams including Live TV content partnerships, media, creative, PR, CRM, social, subscriber acquisition, finance, and product. You’ll also build strong relationships and work with some of the most prominent external networks, studio partners, and sports leagues.ResponsibilitiesReporting into the VP of Brand Marketing, you will oversee the Hulu + Live TV marketing strategy that includes sports, news, and entertainment to ensure alignment with Hulu’s overall business objectives, goals and priorities.
Develop strategic marketing briefs and lead tentpole 360 campaigns and content tune-in campaigns focused on Hulu + Live TV.
Develop and execute marketing campaigns for Live Events on Hulu that include exclusive music festivals and other key events to drive earned media, engagement, and build brand love.
Partner closely with relevant teams for Add-On initiatives like Sports Add-On, ESPN+, and lead strategic plans for the Disney Bundle with Hulu + Live TV.
Support key network partner relationships and campaigns, driving acquisition and engagement goals that move the business forward.
Lead a team of marketers focused on driving awareness and engagement of Hulu’s Live TV content, while fostering career growth.
Oversee the Live TV marketing budget and generate detailed resource plans.
Work cross-functionally to achieve success, including collaborating with Live TV Content Partnerships, Product, Creative, Media, Social, CRM, Editorial, PR and more.
Report out the key learnings/insights of tentpole marketing initiatives to evolve and optimize for maximum success.
Basic Qualifications7+ years of professional experience working in a fast-paced environment, media/TV company.
Experience leading numerous 360 marketing campaigns from strategy, creative execution to launch.
Ability to think big-picture and work with all levels of an organization to drive clarity on campaign goals, and short term/long term strategy.
Excellent communication skills and excels at partner management.
Ability to lead a team, empower others and get results through motivation of others.
Strong attention to detail and ability to switch between creative projects and analytical/technical projects with ease.
Preferred QualificationsExperience and knowledge of the sports landscape strongly preferred.
The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $123,000 to $165,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.#J-18808-Ljbffr
