Job Title: Commercial Contracts Attorney – Technology & E-Commerce

Location: Los Angeles, CA (90064) or San Diego, CA (92121) Hybrid

Type: Full-Time or Contract-to-Hire, Work Onsite as Needed

Role Overview

You thrive on drafting commercial contracts! You love working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and building strong relationships with in-house business executives. The Commercial Contracts Attorney will be responsible for drafting and reviewing commercial contracts that align with our global business objectives. The ideal candidate has international experience, exceptional business acumen, and a deep understanding of commercial agreements within enterprise-scale operations.

Key Responsibilities

Draft and review a variety of commercial contracts, including vendor, partner, and customer agreements.

Work closely with internal business executives and leaders to understand business needs and align contracts accordingly.

Maintain a strong focus on detail while ensuring all contracts comply with U.S. and international legal requirements and company policies.

Collaborate with international teams and manage contracts across multiple jurisdictions.

Provide ongoing support and counsel on contract-related matters, ensuring business objectives are met.

Stay current on industry trends and apply them in the contract drafting process.

Education :

Doctorate/JD (Required)

Qualifications

5-7+ years of experience drafting commercial contracts, preferably in technology and e-commerce.

International contract drafting experience is a must.

Experience working with enterprise-scale vendors, partners, and customers.

Strong business acumen and the ability to provide strategic insights.

Proven ability to form effective relationships with executives and business leaders.

High attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Adaptable and flexible, able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

Must reside within a commutable distance to our Los Angeles (90064) or San Diego (92121) offices.

Committed to work onsite as business needs demand.

Pay and Benefits (USA)

Expected base salary ranges $120,000 - $160,000. Total starting compensation will be determined based on all lawful criteria, Company policy and best practices.

Equity:

All employees within the U.S. are eligible to participate in the Stock Option Plan.

Health Benefits:

All full-time, regular employees and their dependents are eligible for medical, dental, vision and FSA benefits. Additional health benefits include Healthcare and Dependent Care reimbursement programs, Employee Assistance Program (“EAP”) and Optum Care 24-hour confidential medical counseling services.

Holidays:

The company observes ten (10) paid holidays per calendar year.

Paid Time Off (PTO):

Full-time, regular employees earn 15 days of PTO in the first 12-months of continuous service, and 22 days in subsequent years. Eligible part-time employees earn pro-rated PTO.

Retirement:

Effective with your employment start date, you will be eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
