Rosetta Stone, the experts in language learning with products that provide an immersive learning experience for 25 languages, is seeking Senior Software Engineers. The ideal candidates will have a passion for technology and language learning and will help us add new features to our extremely successful Rosetta Stone products.This is a full-time position in our San Mateo, CA headquarters office.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Work with a team of talented engineers, both starting projects from scratch and also working within the existing code baseBuild the back-end wiring, application logic, and UI for our productsProvide accurate estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess new platforms and technologies for project implementationsCollaborate and communicate clearly across multiple development teams to design and release amazing productsMentor teammates, communicate and teach your learningsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
6+ years of experience in software engineeringBachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related disciplineExcellent programming skills (e.g. Ruby/Go or Java)Strong communication, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of AWS, MySQL, MongoDB, GraphQL/Node, React is a plusPassion for improving language learning through technologyOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
