Utilizing our Traece technology, we salvage fallen lumber and transform it into Carbon Smart Wood, a carbon negative building material. Our partnerships with cities enable us to salvage fallen trees from landfills, repurpose them, and reinvest in local tree planting efforts. As a pioneering climate tech start-up, we understand that compelling narratives and visually engaging content are crucial in propelling our mission and selling Carbon Smart Wood.We are seeking a Content & Graphic Design Director with a flair for storytelling and a strong graphical design skill set to amplify our message and visually captivate our audience.What You'll Do:

Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that marries compelling copy with stunning visual design, aligned with Cambium's mission and vision.Manage content calendars across all external channels for Cambium and Carbon Smart Wood, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand presence.Create engaging and visually appealing content, including copy, graphics, and multimedia design, ensuring each piece resonates with our audience and amplifies our message.Uphold and evolve our brand's tone-of-voice and visual identity, ensuring consistency and resonance across all media.Simplify complex topics into engaging visual and textual content that sparks interest and drives engagement.Dive deep into the sustainability and construction communities to craft narratives and visual stories that resonate and inform.Produce compelling graphic content for various channels including social media, website, email, marketing collateral, and paid media.Collaborate with creatives, influencers, and partners to broaden our reach and deepen our impact with visually rich content.Stay attuned to cultural and design trends, integrating relevant insights into our content and graphic design strategy.Play a pivotal role in our dynamic team, supporting cross-functional initiatives as we gear up for significant milestones.Additional Responsibilities:

Develop and refine sales collateral with a strong focus on visual appeal and brand consistency.Assist in managing partnerships, ensuring aligned messaging and co-branding opportunities are visually compelling.Manage and maintain content across 3-4 social platforms, ensuring active engagement and consistent visual branding.Oversee website content and design, ensuring it's current, compelling, and reflective of our brand and mission.Oversee packaging design, aligning it with our sustainability ethos and brand messaging.About You:

You have at least 3-4 years of experience in content creation, graphic design, production, publishing, journalism, or related roles.You hold a Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, graphic design, English, or a related field.You are proficient in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and have a strong portfolio showcasing your work.You understand the consumer marketing funnel and have experience with consumer brands.You're proficient in creating visually engaging content for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.Your passion for fighting climate change is matched by your experience in or understanding of sustainability.You have a proven track record in writing, editing, graphic design, and multimedia content creation.You're adept at executing a creative content and design strategy and keen to analyze cultural trends.You're a strategic communicator and designer who can think big and small, driving both vision and detail.This role will report to
