The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) provides executive-level leadership and guidance to the HR function and operations of RHA Health Services, LLC. The CHRO provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders and the board of directors. The CHRO is an integral part of, and an essential business partner to the entire executive team in transforming the company to meet the targeted growth goals and continuing to build on the company’s culture and high standards of client care. The CHRO is responsible for developing and leading the people strategy and prioritized objectives that support the vision of the company.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position is directly responsible for leading managers of the division and indirectly responsible for all employees within the division.
Responsibilities Include:
Develops and leads the people strategy and prioritized objectives that support the vision of the company, setting department objectives and monitoring and communicating results and status of HR programs to executive team, Board of Directors, and HR department.
Provides leadership and direction to HR team, including HR Business Partners, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Field HR and Employee Relations, and HR Operations.
Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues.
Ensures company has a high-quality network of HR vendors and partners: legal, benefits, HRIS, learning, recruiting, compensation, etc.
Acts as a leading change agent for the company, continually assessing and anticipating HR related needs, proactively seeking viable solutions, and communicating effectively across the company to drive performance and meaningful change.
Builds a highly effective, strategic and responsive talent acquisition function for the enterprise, ensuring legal risks are minimized, and the company is attracting, hiring and retaining qualified candidates at the volume and speed required to meet business objectives.
Identifies and meets the workforce needs of the company, maximizing workforce development and performance, delivering efficient and effective HR services.
Develops, revises, and communicates the company’s Human Resource policies; Writes and reviews the company’s employee Human Resources manuals as needed.
Leads the creation and implementation of non-clinical Learning and Development programs in alignment with an enterprise-wide learning strategy and objectives set with the executive team.
Oversees, maintains and continuously adapts the company’s Human Resources Information Systems, in cadence with RHA’s business needs.
Perform effective people and culture diligence on target companies with accurate insights into talent, critical systems and processes, risks, etc.
Education and Experience:
A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA, or MA/MS in human resources or related field preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility with at least five years of executive HR experience implementing best in class HR strategies.
Strong and progressive track record of success in senior executive human resources positions as a true business leader.
SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Knowledge of and experience with large ERP/HRIS systems, Workday preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Pre-employment screening:
Complete criminal background.
Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities).
Drug testing.
Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
Proof of employment history or references (if required).
