$112965.00 - 160800.00 per YearDuties:Implement layout for complete integrated circuits. Create from scratch analog circuit layouts and combine them with core IP to create new products mask sets. Perform verification of the layout including Layout vs Schematic checks, Design Rule Checks, antenna checks, and mask generation. Work with Analog and mixed signal design engineers, and the design team to extract layouts and solve intricate matching/parasitic issues in order to create a state of the art mixed signal chip. Lay out full custom analog circuits with consideration to matching, power, ground, and dummy devices. Partial telecommute benefit (2 days/week work from home permitted).Requirements:Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign educational equivalent) and 3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or related occupation creating physical layout designs of analog and mixed signal integrated circuit chips.Special skills:Must also possess the following:• Demonstrated expertise (“DE”) developing high quality layouts for complex Analog and Mixed Signal (“AMS”) designs using Cadence Virtuoso;• DE debugging Design Rule Checking (“DRC”) errors, and utilizing Calibre EDA to soft check Property LVS errors for tapeout at both block level and full chip level;• DE creating floorplan of a complete IC, switching power supplies and parasitic issues related to layout and packaging, creating bonding diagram, and power field-effect transistor (“FET”);• DE performing Latch-up and electrostatic discharge (“ESD”) testing for capability to layout IC devices; and• DE isolating critical analog blocks from noisy sources through layout noise coupling suppression techniques.Contact:
