Drives, cleans, fuels, and checks fluid levels of buses as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
+ Drives vehicles between local sites
+ Maintains building and grounds at the fixed route location. Performs maintenance to include (but not limited to) mopping, removal of trash, use of floor machine
+ Reports possible safety violations or issues to the safety and training manager
+ Responsible for outfitting fleet with documentation and/or equipment as directed by management
+ Reports any vehicle issues or leaks to the maintenance site
+ Places client fliers or rider alerts on vehicles as required
+ Drives, maneuvers, and parks vehicles. May include maneuvering vehicles through the wash bay
+ In instances of inclement weather, prepares the fixed route lot. Including (but not limited to) operating the snowplow and/or sander, placing ice melt, placing hazard signs
+ Responsible for delivery of any utilities related paperwork between the operations and maintenance sites
+ Reports any maintenance issues to supervisors or management
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education, Licensing, and Certifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required
+ Must possess a valid state driver's license with a minimum of one year of driving experience and a good driving record
+ Must be eligible for and able to obtain a Commercial Drivers License with a Passenger endorsement within 30 days of hire
+ Applicants who already hold a CDL will receive preference
Experience:
+ 1 year or more of janitorial or auto detailing experience preferred
Skills and Knowledge Required:
+ Good oral communication skills
+ Ability to read and follow written and spoken instructions
+ Ability to read, comprehend, and abide by Material Safety Data Sheets and all other safety training materials provided
+ Ability to learn shop processes including fueling vehicles and cleaning vehicles
+ Ability to mix and use a variety of cleaning products
+ Ability to use a variety of equipment such as buffers, scrubbing machines, and other heavy cleaning equipment
+ Strong attention to details
