Job Summary for Ultrasound Technologist:
The ultrasound technologist performs a variety of ultrasound scanning and imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical ultrasound procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ultrasound for ultrasound diagnosis. Required:
Associate degree (two-year college or technical school) from CAAHEP accredited programRequired:
RDMS, ARRT (US), or CCI credentialed/registered in appropriate ultrasound specialty.Required:
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomyRequired:
Vascular registryRequired : CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
