This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of a compassionate and innovative team.About Mass Vet CardiologyYou will be part of a specialty team focused on providing high-quality, accessible, and personalized care.
In this role you are directly contributing to the care and well-being of our patients by participating in:Management of patients with early to advanced heart disease via outpatient appointments with serial diagnosticsManagement of hospitalized patients with the opportunity to practice advanced nursing care skillsResearch that will advance medical discoveryManagement of patients with congenital heart defects, assisting with Interventional Cardiac SurgeriesResponsibilities and Duties:Oversee appointments and managing clients throughout their visitParticipate with DVMs in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatmentsEducate owners about cardiac diseases, prognosis, and homecareUtilize different modalities of imaging for patient and procedural assessmentAssist in both outpatient and surgical proceduresProvide empathy, comfort, and unparalleled nursing care to all patients, be a strong patient advocate during hospitalization.Maintain all equipment on a per-use basis ensuring the safety and best practice care for all patientsAnticipated Schedule: 4 days per week, some weekend shifts requiredCompensation:$23 - $30 pending skills assessment leveling
