Company OverviewBoyd Watterson Asset Management, LLC is an independent investment advisor specializing in real estate, fixed income, and equity products. We provide investment solutions to a broad range of institutional clients and to high-net-worth clients, mainly through intermediaries.Our investment strategies focus on stable income with a moderate risk profile. The real estate products are mainly delivered through private funds that primarily own and operate commercial buildings under lease to agencies of the US government, and state and local governments. Our fixed income and equity products are delivered through separately managed accounts, mutual funds, and intermediaries.Requirements:The OpportunityThis position manages all aspects or activities of assigned product development activity, and other initiatives as assigned by the Deputy Chief Operating Officer. The manager works directly with internal and external professionals to ensure that all processes and deliverables are completed correctly, properly approved, and accomplished on a timely basis. The complexity and unique aspects of each product require a dedicated person who works as a facilitator for the team and draws on each area's specific skills to design and maintain deliverables for the products. The products have complex needs that require a high-level of organization, process improvement, and communication with a solid understanding of structure, portfolio modeling, financial statements, and client reporting.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the following responsibilities and communicate information to the team to ensure seamless execution:Project Management -

Monitor and control project schedule, quality, and risk including budget and financial expense tracking. Develop long and short-range project objectives. Aid experienced Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Fixed Income Team Members to handle project scheduling or budgeting changes. Recommend changes to improve productivity, processes, and reduce costs. Coordinate and assist with related calls and meetings. Maintain and manage relationships with external vendors/stakeholders including scheduling and coordination of meetings. Supervise project resources. Respond to inquiries regarding all assigned projects. Maintain task list and all documentation of the project and deliverables.Product Development

– Work with the Deputy Chief Operating Officer to coordinate the review and launch of new products; monitor new product launches including task forces, Gantt Charts, product budgets, and return models; provide reporting on new product launches to various committees. Work closely with Portfolio Managers and Business Leads to understand product launch needs and assist with product research.Legal and compliance

– Work closely with the legal department to understand product structures, maintain organizational documents, and assist or perform compliance tasks as assigned.Ownership of deliverables, direct communication with external project representatives, their professional representatives, administrators, fund directors, and others; field all inquiries, maintain documents and correspondence.Manage the relationship with the external parties related to the development and management of products and processes.Any other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills, Personal Characteristics and Work Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience3-5 years of experience in project management or coordination roleExperience in financial analysis/modeling and understanding of investment structures preferredExperience in product development preferredClient-service experience preferred, with strong interpersonal skills a mustAbility to communicate effectively with a broad range of internal and external partiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, possessing strong organizational skills
