With the evolution of our new EV (Electric Vehicle) technology, we are growing faster than ever.At Battle Motors, we believe the most fulfilling place to work is where extraordinary people collaborate to solve difficult problems.As an Electrical Technician you will be responsible to lead a team of electrical technicians working with engineering and production associates to diagnose and repair high and low voltage electrical subsystems.Role and ResponsibilitiesLead team of electrical techniciansAssign and direct daily tasks for techniciansMentor and train new techniciansRead and interpret electrical schematicsDraw wiring schematics to use for troubleshootingBuild harnesses and cables as required to support troubleshooting and manufacturing·Support engineering to troubleshoot trucksCreate work instructions and training for the production line personnelProvide guidance for high and low voltage diagnosing strategiesCreate troubleshooting and diagnosing instructions for new products and provide training for warranty and field service personnelPerform annual performance reviewsSupport engineering to troubleshoot trucks on the line and in the fieldCollaborate with R&D and engineering during the new product development phases and provide testing and validation supportWilling to travel approximately 10%

Qualifications and Education Requirements5+ years of experience with electrical systems troubleshooting and repairingElectrical system diagnosing and repairing including HV and LV harnessesStrong knowledge of high and low voltage automotive systemsHigh School diploma or GEDAssociate Degree in Electrical Engineering a plusAble to use Microsoft Word, ExcelMust be organized, with strong communication skillsPreferred Experience and SkillsStrong knowledge of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical system design, safety, EMI, EMC, HVILExperience in harness certification for IEEE, SAE, and EMI standardsUnderstanding of high voltage energy storage and charge systems in EVsFamiliarity with related regulations, FMVSS/SAE standards, and practicesThis position will adhere to the Battle Motors Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules, procedures, practices, training, and safe use of equipment; this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
