Job Title: Interventional TechnologistJob Specialty: Interventional RadiologyJob Duration: 13 weeksShift: 1st, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PMGuaranteed Hours: 40 hours per weekExperience: 1 year of experience in an Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab settingLicense: ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer requiredCertifications: Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV, or ARRT-VI preferred; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an AHA approved equivalent required within three months of hireMust-Have:- Proficiency in vascular Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures- Experience in Siemens and Philips imaging systems- Experience in Siemens and GE ultrasound imaging systems- Familiarity with EPIC/PACS systems- Strong coding and billing knowledge in Interventional RadiologyJob Description:- Assist physicians in performing interventional radiographic and related procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.- Responsible for the preparation and documentation of inventory materials and supplies for interventional radiology services.- Operate advanced interventional radiographic and related diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.- Perform tasks in various IR procedures including vascular IR (TIPS, arterial vascular intervention, vein ablation, sclerotherapy, TVLB), hybrid OR (EVAR, TEVAR, TCAR), oncology (Therasphere, Sirsphere, TACE, cryoablation, microwave ablation), MSK (vertebroplasty, RF ablation, percutaneous bone screw placement), and non-vascular interventions (PTC/PBD, nephrostomy placements, ureteral stenting, G tube, chest tube, Pleurex).- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
