Job Type Part-time Description
BBH provides outpatient behavioral health services and treatment to children and adults throughout southern Arizona. Available services include therapy, assessment/screening, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, care coordination, skills training, peer support, housing assistance, employment skills, and family support.
General Position Description: Works among a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for providing physical health evaluation, treatment planning, and medication management to a range of clients with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts physical health evaluation and treatment for members in services for behavioral health.Provides diagnostic evaluation and clarification for complex presentations.Provides medical decision making, including psychosocial and medical/medication treatment recommendations and crisis response to new and existing clients.Provides consultation and health education to agency staff, caregivers, and clients regarding clients\' treatment and medication needs.Participates in facility discharge planning with intra and inter-agency staff.Documents concurrently while conducting interviews in the electronic medical record and complete all notes the same day as the service was provided.Maintains documentation of services, including progress notes, medication informed consent, and other required information in compliance with EBF and third-party compliance standards.Practices within the standard of care guided by practice parameters and best practices from regional and national stake-holding organizationsSupports in-person and telehealth appointments as needed.Participates in the process of ongoing professional development and meetings. Maintains comprehensive communication among all contacts within the agency, members, and external agencies. Models professional standards and ethics in accordance with EBF Code of Conduct, Strategic Plan, Mission, and Vision.Performs other duties as assigned.
