Director of Procurement Prof Services/HR Services/R&D/Travel, this leadership role is responsible for global procurement of Professional services, including consulting, legal services, marketing and outsourced business services, with a total spend of approximately $200 million.This role will lead and develop a team of 3 globally. The position will be responsible for leading procurement excellence and driving best value, with key focus on cost, quality and service, supporting our organizational goals while helping to improve patient outcomes.This role will maintain a high level of visibility to company executives while providing valuable transformation experience. It will allow you to think strategically to develop best in class sourcing and spend management.

Responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of professional services category strategies to establish a world class organization and supply base to create a competitive advantage.Partner with executive leadership to create a Sourcing vision and strategy that aligns with the needs of the business while meeting financial and operational control objectives.Facilitation of Procurement policies and processes, ensuring that project teams and stakeholders understand and adhere to them under governance processes.Leverage and maximize fit for purpose procurement process solutions, including the utilization of world class digital solution, and use of business process outsourcing.Accountable for driving annual savings across Professional services categories.Strong decision maker surrounding multi-million-dollar contracts and agreements and major policies.Ability to collaborate in a global cross functional matrixed environment, including ability to influence, negotiate and manage stakeholder interests/expectations.Engage with executive leadership in key supplier relationships.Cultivate a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.Benchmark industry best practices and continuously advance procurement capabilities.QualificationsBachelor's Degree; MBA desirable. CPM preferred.Minimum 10 years' industry-related experience including five years in a sourcing leadership role.Proven experience managing a global team within a matrixed environment.Ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate across the network and build credibilityExperience working in a global environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.In-depth knowledge of complex contracting and pricing models across Professional services categories.Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, including power point presentations.Ability to work and get results in ambiguous and complex situations.Strong business acumenSeasoned negotiator with strong negotiation skills, vendor relationship management, and contract negotiation experience.Strong project management skills to drive projects to closure.Travel of 10%-25% including global travel.What do we offer:Competitive salary, annual bonus and recognition award program.Corporate culture based on our values: collaboration, speed, courage and simplicity.Possibilities for development on a personal and professional level in one of the leading global MedTech companies.Equal Employment OpportunityBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
