OverviewThe Mammography department at our Dartmouth Health Clinics covers three locations including: Concord, Manchester, Nashua. All three locations perform screening and diagnostic exams. Manchester and Nashua also perform special procedures including: needle localizations, stereotactic breast biopsies, and magseed placements.

We are seeking a per-diem Mammography Technologist to join the team to perform breast imaging. Biopsy experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Performs routine and complex breast imaging and examination procedures following departmental guidelines.Performs required quality assurance procedures at the designated intervals.Instructs and reviews technical performance of diagnostic technologists. Instructs patients in breast self-examinations.Consistently ensure good patient care, comfort, safety, and confidentiality.Utilizes e-DH, RIS, and PACS to perform job functions.Maintain a second Mammography registry as required by federally-mandated MQSA standards.Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

1 year of clinical Mammography experience required. Associates degree preferred.Required Licensure/Certifications

- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology, registered with the ARRT, in addition to certification in Mammography with the ARRT. - Certification in Basic Life Support required. - Maintains a second Mammography registry by annually accruing five ECE's specific to Mammography Education, as required by federally-mandated MQSA standards. - Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire
