This role will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Global Learning & Development teams responsibilities, specifically for our business service population which includes primarily design, development, and delivery of content and materials, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development, as well as reviewing and updating current programs. This role will be located in our New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.Responsibilities & Qualifications:Other key responsibilities include:Developing and preparing materials, including facilitators guides, participant workbooks, and visual aids, including PowerPoint presentationsAssisting in identifying and analyzing learning and development needs and providing innovative learning and development solutions for the firmAssisting in curating content for the Learning Management System (LMS)Completing special learning- and development-related projectsGenerating performance evaluations and recommending salary increases, working with Human Capital & Talent to recruit, hire, train, coach, and manage the performance of employeesManaging the entire lifecycle of projects, including keeping stakeholders informed, working with multiple project team members and meeting all deadlinesProtecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retainsWed love to hear from you if you:Possess outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, in all mediaDemonstrate the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firmExhibit outstanding project management skills demonstrated across multiple locations, cultures, and matrixed organizationsAnd have:A high school diploma or an equivalent; a Bachelors degree or an equivalent in Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Instructional Design, or a related field, preferablyA minimum of six (6) years of experience in learning and developmentExperience managing global projects within a matrixed environment, preferablyExperience and/or knowledge of LMSs, preferablyExperience designing and facilitating virtual learning, preferably
