Wolf Connection volunteers are hard working, committed, able-bodied individuals who come together for a common purpose: to be of service to the mission of Wolf Connection!Do you live in the Southern California area, have a means of reliable transportation, love nature and animals, and have an interest in helping others? If so, please consider volunteering with us!How will you be of service? From working behind the scenes to care for our wolves and wolf dogs, to clearing trails, to washing bowls and scooping poop… there is much to be done! In addition to these daily "pack care" rituals, there may also be the opportunity to assist our wolfdogs as they help others on their journey towards inner strength, self-realization, and empowerment ...... Many individuals find something valuable in working with these great creatures! Are you ready to find your Pack?Because of the sensitivity of the pack, and the importance of building relationship over time, regular volunteers commit to spend at least 12 hours per month (4 hours each session) assisting with pack care and property maintenance. After a ninety day period, regular volunteers may be considered to train for Kennel Crew, which has direct contact with the animals.Associate volunteers are not eligible to have direct animal contact as part of their volunteer duties and may volunteer about once a month at public events or work behind the scenes.Minimum age- 23 (Background check required)Working with or alongside our wolves/wolf dogs requires a high level of awareness and commitment to the animals, as well as a commitment to the mission of Wolf Connection. How are you called to be of service?
