RespiratoryJob Overview:The primary function of a Respiratory Care Practitioner (Registered Respiratory Therapist) is to provide respiratory care to a variety of inpatients and outpatients. The scope of duty includes therapeutic, diagnostic, educational and invasive procedures for adult, pediatric and infant NBI/CHoNJ patients.Qualifications:Required:Registered Respiratory TherapistCurrent NJ Respiratory licenseRRT/CRT (Required).Preferred:Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable):Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions):Full-TimeDay12 HR Shift36 Hour Work WeekEssential Functions:Helps patient accomplish treatment plan and, supports life by administering inhalants, and operating mechanical ventilators.Therapeutic gas administration apparatus, environmental control systems, and aerosol generators.
