Job Description :
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates complex equipment to produce high quality radiographs.This individual collaborates with the Radiologist, the manager, and the staff in developing, implementing, and evaluating department procedures and protocols.This position has direct patient care, access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with the Radiologist, the manager and the staff.This individual works under the indirect supervision of the Radiology Manager.Perform Nuclear Medicine exams and protocolsConsistently apply infection control practices and policiesIndependently manage patient flow and exams efficientlyQualifications :
At least one year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine TechnologistARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine OR CNMT certification in Nuclear MedicineAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support certification, requiredGraduated from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
