to join our team. This is a

per diem

position with weekday and weekend hours available. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) duties include, but are not limited to:provide coverage for inpatients in the acute care settingthe candidate who fills this position will provide coverage for hospital inpatients in the acute care settingresponsible for the evaluation, treatment planning and implementation of treatment for patients demonstrating disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing and other services prescribed by a physician90%-95% of our referral are swallow related; we do some cognitive/speech evaluations and treatment as wellassists in developing and implementing new and ongoing programs beneficial for the enhancement of the departmentweekend shifts are on-call shifts with on-call pay if called in

Qualifications

Education and Work Experiencegraduate of an accredited college or university with Bachelor's in speech therapy, requiredlicensed by the state in Speech-Language PathologyMS degree in Speech-Language Pathology, preferredone year of experience with swallow assessment and treatment in an acute care hospital setting, preferredone year of experience in acute care, preferredcurrent BLS for healthcare provider's certification upon hire and maintain currentwe are #hiring for #speechlanguagepathologist or #speechtherapist for a #perdiem position #dayshift for an #SLP at #providencemedicalcenter or also #PMC#LI-MP1Connect With Us!
