Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath/EP Lab - Surgical Technologist Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10-hour shifts, primarily days with some evening and on-call requirements Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Cath Lab Tech License: Certified Surgical Technician or eligible under Public Health law 2824 Certifications: - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or ARRT (preference for ARRT)- Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA- Fully completed COVID-19 vaccination Must-Have: - Good organizational skills- Certification in relevant field as per NYS requirements Job Description: - Prepare the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures- Set up sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment- Anticipate and provide necessary equipment during procedures- Operate and maintain surgical equipment and sterile instruments- Function in multiple roles within the procedure team, including scrub, circulator, and documenterThis role involves working in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail, collaboration, and efficient handling of surgical tools and procedures.
