Duties
Conduct patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
Provide primary care services, including diagnosing and treating common illnesses and injuries
Perform procedures such as phlebotomy, suturing, I and D
Manage acute pain through appropriate medication management
Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices
Utilize electronic medical record systems (such as Nextgen) to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
Requirements
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
Experience working in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
Proficiency in performing procedures such as phlebotomy, suturing, and I and d
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (such as Nextgen)
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
