Medical Practice Administrator

Our mid-size family practice in Rutherford County, NC is seeking a Practice Administrator for a full-time position available May 2018. We are seeking an innovative practice manager with significant administrative healthcare experience who truly believes in the value of a team-oriented Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model. You will manage a comprehensive team of well-respected Doctors, Mid-Level Providers, clinical and office staff.

SUMMARY:

The responsibilities include administrative and clinical supervisory work in the coordination of program services, quality assurance and personnel services. Work involves implementation and evaluation of program policies and procedures as outlined by the organization in conjunction with state, federal and administrative codes, as well as by professional practice standards. Work is performed with latitude for independent judgement, and action is reviewed by the two physician partners through daily interaction, conferences, reports and observation.

FUNCTIONS:

Maintains general responsibility for the administrative supervision of practice operations.

Maintains responsibility for problem-solving daily operational issues.

Selects, orients, trains, counsels, disciplines and directs staff.

Evaluates and monitors program needs, identifies unmet needs and systematically addresses need for change.

Routinely conducts quality assurance activities through reviews, meetings, reports and observation of results, according to professional practice standards and regulatory compliance.

Collaboration with the Intermedix management team to ensure applicable practice, federal and state standards are compliant and in place.

Maintains and manages inventory supplies efficiently.

Work to mitigate liability risk within the practice.

Prepares reports, as indicated and necessary.

Act as a liaison between Intermedix, your providers and clinic/office staff.

Responsible for facilities management.

Promote core values and help positively drive the quality metrics.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred.

Minimum of 5 year’s managing a physician practice.

In-depth knowledge of Allscripts EHR and PM systems.

Focus on Quality Measures and processes in closing managed care gaps.

In-depth knowledge of Transformational Care and Chronic Care Mgmt.

Understand and attention to MIPS/MACRA successes.

Experience in a PCMH model of care is preferred.

Knowledge and experience with billing and coding
