Quality Assurance Manager

IFAB Corp (www.ifabcorp.com) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Quality Manager to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing quality control, with a focus on Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Integrated Management Systems (IMS). This role is critical in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:• Assist in developing and implementing quality management systems and processes in line with industry standards.• Set quality objectives and ensure that targets are achieved.• Monitor and analyze quality performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and report findings to the Quality Manager.• Conduct regular audits of processes and products to identify areas for improvement.• Coordinate with the production team to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.• Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and develop corrective action plans.• Stay updated with the latest trends and regulations in quality management within the manufacturing sector.• Manage customer complaints related to quality and ensure timely resolution.• Assist in supplier quality audits and evaluations.

Preferred candidate should have some or all of the following qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality control/assurance role within a manufacturing environment.• Proficient in implementing and managing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and overseeing the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).• Experience with Integrated Management Systems (IMS), particularly in integrating ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) standards.• Strong knowledge of environmental quality systems and standards.• Proficient in data analysis and quality performance metrics.• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Strong leadership and team management abilities.• Excellent communication skills in English [and other languages if required].• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software.• Experience in Project Management a Plus• Bilingual (Spanish and English also preferred).
