The Finance Director will be responsible for day-to-day management of all aspects of finance for SKDK and patner organizations and will report to the Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Accounting, FP&A, SOX compliance, and process/procedure. The unique candidate will bring enthusiasm, passion, and strategic insight to assist in promoting financial stewardship and excellence. The ideal candidate will possess attention to detail, analytical insight, effective communication , and a drive to enhance operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Partner and oversee financial functions of the organization. This is to include such initiatives of forecasting, billings, month-end close, staff forecasting, budgetingPerform detailed analysis to provide leadership with visibility into trends of past, present, and future performancePartner with CFO on FP&A aspects of the businessProvide innovation on additional reporting that will assist the business with continued growth ambitions and decision makingAbility to communicate financial performance in a storytelling scenario with suggestions and recommendationsPartner with COO & Operations on contract execution for multiple business disciplines within the Director's remitDrive continued profitability for the organization through top line & expense managementAssist in preparation of financial packages for presentation to management and the firm's PartnersDevelop and maintain financial models to analyze business performanceCollaborate with Business Practice Leads to ensure alignment of financial plans and goals in line with overall company objectivesCoordinate with Revenue Team & Shared Services for timing billing and revenue recognition in compliance with GAAP methodologiesBe a change agent for assurance of SOX compliance, ensuring accounting standards, internal controls, and regulation is in best practice with the ability to implement process for new controls successfullyBe responsible for approval of expenses, vendors, and job creationsPartner with CFO on special projects, company initiatives, and advance reporting internally and to corporate executivesQualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or other relevant degrees.10+ years progressive experience in strategic leadership roles in Finance/AccountingStrong skills in FP&A, Client Partnership, and delivering financial resultsAttention to detail and an eye for accuracyStrong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills with the ability to work autonomously to analyze complex data and identify trends and issuesStrong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirementsThe ability to interact with business partners at all levels and functions with clear communication and attention on problem-solvingBe able to work in a high volume and fast-paced organization to successfully multi-task and meet deadlinesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software/systemsPreferred:

Prior Advertising/Media/Entertainment industry experience a plus.Experience with Microsoft applications and Maconomy a plus.Benefits

SKDK is committed to pay equity. SKDK believes the target base compensation in this role is $150,000-$160,000. In addition to base salary, SKDK considers other key components as part of total compensation, including but not limited to an annual discretionary bonus, commission on new business, and a comprehensive benefits package. Actual base compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, such as skillset, level of experience, and location.
