Program Manager - Building Information Management - Revit

The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years working experience in Revit. Experience in VDC also preferred with a strong understanding of project delivery and project phasing. Role will focus on creating, managing, and supporting MD Anderson BIM program. The ability to deconstruct a problem, with an intense level of curiosity, and figure out how to do things better is a key element to this position. Open-mindedness, innovative, detail-oriented, with strong time-management skills preferred.
SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the Program Manager - Building Information Management position is to develop, manage, and execute MD Anderson Cancer Center's BIM compliance across institutional and capital projects. The Program Manager also leads the BIM standards development and publication process for the division and serves as the internal communications liaison for the division and gives input/oversees the development of project communication for construction projects.
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Provide daily support to MD Anderson BIM Program
Manages all aspects of the MD Anderson Cancer Center Engineering Building System Management/BIM program. This includes continuous review and alignment of BIM standards to current, best practices while aligning with institutional needs and initiatives. Monitoring multiple, concurrent projects in terms of compliance to MDA BIM Standards. On a per project basis assessing, tracking and reporting of MDA BIM Deliverables. Developing BIM program content in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders, including MDA BIM Core Team, while documentation of stakeholder participation and feedback from participants is clearly documented. Works across Facilities to ensure alignment with institutional BIM goals and best practices. Ensure all SOPs and related training is up to date, including but not limited to all MDA BIM Asset Workflow docs and templates and are published to Owner Design Guidelines.
Manage Revit Warehouse
Create or Update MD Anderson Revit Warehouse model as required. Including but not limited to creating, editing, managing Revit families, Revit view templates, .pat files, Schedules or similar Revit content that will be shared with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred experience with Dynamo Scripts to support MDA Asset workflows.
Creating and Managing Autodesk Construction Cloud account
Manage Autodesk Construction Cloud account for MD Anderson Cancer Center Engineering Building System Management/BIM program. Provide training to internal stakeholders as required. Create and manage training material as required. Staying active in industry best practices as well as platform updates, and inform process(es) with current information as applicable. Assist with development of ACC workflow to support Master Facilities Framework. Assist with Autodesk Construction Cloud - Docs implementation and management of existing records. Provide input to ensure file structures are clear, consistent and manageable across platforms. Ability to publish models to cloud; bridge MDA ACC to external accounts as required. Preferred experience in ACC - Asset Module.
Data Administration
Provide tracking of BIM and CAD Deliverables and report metrics on a set cadence with required stakeholders. Provide tracking and reporting of Asset Deliverables from Models based on MDA_Revit Maximo Data_Baseline. Ability to use MDA Model Checker and work with 3rd-party vendor to update, as required, to meet institutional needs.
BIM Liaison
Attend project meetings as required; demonstrate BIM Workflows as required to project teams and answer questions. Ability to review and comment on project BIM Execution Plans. Demonstrate the ability of taking meeting minutes and follow-up with all affected parties without Manager oversight.
Policy Administration
Manage the development and publication of divisional and institutional policies as they relate to the BIM Program. Also serves as the liaison with Institutional Compliance. Leads a divisional policy and procedures committee and the policies and procedure library.

Required: Bachelor's degree. Five years related experience to include three years program management experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. With preferred degree, three years of required experience.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management or related field. Five years working experience in Revit to include three years of BIM Manager experience. Five years VDC experience on a one-to-one basis. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. With preferred degree, three years of required experience. Preferred Experience, seven years working experience in Revit to include five years of BIM Manager experience. Preferred Certification, Autodesk Certified Professional or Autodesk Certified Expert in Revit or related software.
