Here's what you'll do:
Financial Leadership Expert:
Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes for our college.Goal Setting Champion:
Establish departmental priorities and ensure all financial deadlines are met.Team Leader and Mentor:
Supervise your finance staff, providing training, coaching, and performance management.Financial Reporting Master:
Review and approve financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.Strategic Analysis Guru:
Conduct special financial studies and provide insights to support informed decision-making.Reporting Pro:
Produce routine and ad-hoc financial reports for senior management and planning teams.Policy and Procedure Champion:
Oversee the development and implementation of sound accounting policies and procedures.Project Management Expert:
Manage special projects and prepare presentations for senior management.To be successful, you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field is required.Experience:
Four to five years of experience in a relevant financial management role.Accounting Expertise:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly within a university setting.Leadership Skills:
The ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of finance professionals.Communication Master:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and senior management.Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency in financial and accounting software applications.Analytical Skills:
