My client has been in business for over 15 years and is a long-standing manufacturer and distributor of automotive parts, providing a variety of high-value solutions across a range of vehicles. With a reputation for their niche products and dedication to quality and innovation, they are a key player in their industry and continuously expanding their global footprint.

They're currently looking to bring on a Corporate Controller located near Gurnee, IL, to manage and oversee the company's Accounting & Finance operations, reporting directly into the President. This position would oversee a team of four individuals and a clear growth path within the business.

Job Description

Corporate Controller Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the company's accounting operations.Supervise financial activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and compliance to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Oversee the preparation of periodic financial reports, ensuring they comply with generally accepted accounting principles.Support the company's overall growth strategy.Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implement controls to minimize risk in accounting transactions.Provide financial analysis focusing on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.Manage inventory and purchase forecasts.Oversee cash flow management.Administer ERP and related IT systems.Coordinate with external auditors and supply necessary information for the annual audit.Manage the bank line of credit, including preparing periodic borrowing base reports.Ensure compliance with bank and other financial partner requirements.File quarterly and annual taxes.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Perform other related duties as assigned.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant

Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field8+ years of experience in Accounting and Finance2+ years of Supervisory/Management experienceExperience in the manufacturing or distribution sector a plusExperience with Inventory AccountingProficient in Microsoft ExcelExcellent written and verbal communications skillsStrong time management and organizational skillsERP implementation experience a plusWhat's on Offer
