Summary:
At Spartronics, our
Assemblers
perform routine and/or repetitive operations in a flexible manufacturing environment in accordance with standardized processes, procedures, or methods. May require frequent movement throughout the manufacturing operation.
What a Day Looks Like:
Mechanical and/or electrical operations or assemblies involving fixed indicating meters, in-circuit test/functional test, marking machines, jigs & fixtures, packaging equipment, wire cutting, stripping & twisting equipment, various types of fastening devices involving power operations, hand tools and gauges (fixed, micrometers, calipers, rules).Ability to solder in accordance with J-STD-001 and IPC-620 or ability to be trainedResponsible for daily clean-up of all assigned work areas and to practice Good Housekeeping skills.Use computer skills with applicable MS office programs and other software.Assemble and/or repair printed wiring assemblies (PWA), subassemblies, instruments, and final assemblies of various components utilizing a wide range of tools, work processes and skills to approved documented procedures/specifications.Deploy sound inventory control methods and procedures. This will include being able to allocate materials to work orders, incoming inspection assistance, and ability to issue inventory in MRP if applicable.Handle, mix and test hazardous chemicals while using PPE.Basic duties as required to meet production needs. Must also be flexible to OT or a flex schedule.Work in a team environmentEnsure the safety & wellbeing of all employees and visitors to the facility. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental & regulations, operating & work instructions, policies and rules in place. Report any possible violations to Management immediately.Any other duties as assigned by management.Requirements
What You'll Need:
High school graduate or equivalent.Must have reliable transportation.Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions.Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written form.Ability to add and subtract whole numbers, fractions and decimals using direct reading, gauges, rulers, and scales.Must be quality conscious and have a good work ethic.Must maintain ESD Precautions Standards certification in areas/facilities where required (training provided by employer)May be required to lift or exert up to 55 pounds as required by the job task.Ability to read and understand schematics, wire diagrams, and mechanical drawings.ITAR Regulations require all candidates be a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee.Our Commitment:
