Position Overview:Gateway Post Acute is seeking an experienced and dedicated

Director of Pulmonary Services

to lead and oversee all respiratory care and pulmonary services for our Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate must hold a current

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license

and demonstrate strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to providing high-quality respiratory care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and manage all pulmonary services within the facility, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.Supervise and train respiratory therapy staff, ensuring high standards of care and best practices.Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and provide comprehensive pulmonary care.Oversee the development of individualized care plans for patients with respiratory conditions.Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal respiratory function and quality of life.Ensure all equipment and procedures meet safety and infection control standards.Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and improve pulmonary services.Manage departmental budgeting, including monitoring costs and resource utilization.Serve as a liaison between the respiratory care team and other departments within the facility.Qualifications:

Must possess a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license

in the state of California.A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in respiratory therapy, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.Strong knowledge of pulmonary disease management and respiratory care procedures.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lead and motivate a team in a skilled nursing facility environment.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and related documentation systems.Preferred Skills:

Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care setting.Additional certifications related to pulmonary care or respiratory therapy.Benefits:
