We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

to join our team on a 12-week contract basis.. Speech-Language Pathologists are responsible for diagnosing and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages. They work with clients to develop personalized treatment plans and help them improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.Key responsibilities:- Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' speech and language abilities- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address each client's specific needs- Providing therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to provide holistic care for clients- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment as needed- Monitoring and documenting clients' progress throughout treatment- Keep detailed records of patients' progress and treatment plans- Providing education and counseling to clients and their families on communication strategies and techniques- Keeping up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology- Adhering to ethical and professional standards set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and other relevant organizationsQualifications:- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA- State licensure or certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds- Experience working with diverse populations and in a variety of clinical settings- Commitment to continuing education and professional development- Compassion and empathy for patients and their familiesPreferred qualifications:- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)- Bilingual proficiency in a second language- Experience working with children or geriatric populations- Knowledge of assistive communication devices and technologyLocation: Atlanta, GAJob Type: Full-time, 12-Week ContractThis position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
