Job Overview of Clinician - Clinic Based Bilingual
The Bilingual (Spanish) Clinic-Based Clinician provides direct clinical services (evaluations, assessments, treatment, individual, family and group therapy) as the primary clinician to assigned clients as part of a multidisciplinary team in the provision of comprehensive mental health services.
Essential Duties of Bilingual Clinician-Clinic Based
Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Develops and implements clinically appropriate treatment plans and all related documentation for client records Provides a minimum of 20 billable hours per week of psychotherapy to clients and their families using individual, group, family intervention as well as other agency approved evidenced-based treatment modalities, including off-site visits Promotes integrated, person-centered care Generates and monitor proper communication with internal and external stakeholders (i.e., schools, protective services, etc.) and maintains records of communications Serves as on call clinician as scheduled during rotating basis Maintains knowledge of OMH regulations as they relate to clinical practice Essential Qualifications of Bilingual Clinician-Clinic Based
Key qualifications include:
Licensed or license-eligible professional (LMSW, LMHC, LMFT) NYS- LMSW or LCSW preferred. Relevant clinical experience with children, adolescent and families Knowledge of and experience with multiple modalities and evidence-based Interventions Strong computer skills, with knowledge of electronic health record systems Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to meet session productivity standards Benefits of Bilingual Clinician - Clinic Based
