About the Facility - Oklahoma City Veterans Health Care SystemThis location consists of a 192-operating-bed VHA facility located in Central Oklahoma serving 48 Oklahoma Counties and two counties in North Central Texas with a veteran population of over 225,000. The Oklahoma City VAMC also includes Community Based Outpatient Clinics in Lawton, Ardmore, Stillwater, Altus, Ada, Enid, Blackwell, Oklahoma and Wichita Falls, Texas. The Oklahoma City VAMC is also a teaching hospital, providing a full range of patient care services, with state-of-the-art technology as well as education and research. Comprehensive health care is provided through primary care, tertiary care, and long-term care in areas of medicine, surgery, psychiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, oncology, dentistry, geriatrics, and extended care.
