Then keep reading - you've come to the right place.Role DescriptionWe are hiring a Associate Manager, Incoming Quality Control to drive continual product and process improvements of our pioneering technology. You will develop quality processes and methodologies and will lead and participate in cross-functional teams, working with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Suppliers and Operations to ensure all material delivered to production lines conforms to design requirements. This role has duties impacting all facets of production in FF1. You will be an integral part of Form Energy's Quality Team, helping ensure that all products meet customer and company requirements.This opportunity is based out of Form Energy's Eighty Four, PA facility. Relocation assistance is available. What you'll do:Build systems and processes to ensure all material delivered to production lines conforms to design specificationsDevelop incoming material quality control plans and lead a team of technicians to perform regular inspections of incoming material accordingly.Establish and maintain a clean and organized work environment in the FF1 incoming material inspection areaWork closely with Design/Manufacturing Engineering and Supplier Quality Engineering to to determine appropriate product specifications and tolerances and establish systems and processes to ensure materials consistently meet these specificationsLead/assist in the identification and resolution of manufacturing and supplier quality issuesMonitor quality, determine root cause(s), and implement effective short-term permanent countermeasure(s)Participate in continuous improvement activities with Design/Manufacturing Engineering and external SuppliersWork with Supplier Quality Engineering and Suppliers to develop inspection standardsAnalyze and disposition non-conforming material as a member of the Material Review Board (MRB)Effectively utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) as well as critical thinking to efficiently problem solveImplement systems/processes to ensure proper defect detection capabilities and proper traceability coverageWhat you'll bring:Strong leadership skills including the ability to build an effective team capable of working well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while remaining detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills10 + years of quality systems experience in a manufacturing environmentExperienced with ISO9001 or equivalent quality management systems as well asExperience using quality tools like APQP, PPAP, Inspection Standards, SPC, DFMEA, PFMEAExperience using MSA to understand and improve measurement and test systemsDeep understanding of engineering drawings and schematics including proficiency with GD&T per ASME Y14.5Structured problem-solving (8D) and analytical skills, including strong technical skills in statistical tools, Design of Experiments (DOE), Process Capability (Cpk, Ppk), etc.Ability to manage, synthesize, interpret, and clearly communicate dataBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar field#LI-Onsite#LI-CB1Humanity is a cornerstone of Form Energy's culture, and we make sure our compensation and benefits reflect that.
