Wilson Language training is growing and is looking to hire a Project Manager on the Program Development team.

The Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan complex projects related to the development of Wilson Language Training Program curriculum programs and professional learning, as well as digital resources and platforms. The ideal candidate will be a leader who is well-versed in Project Management best practices and has demonstrable experience in managing both print-based and digital projects. A track record of success planning projects within an Agile environment is a plus.

Essential Job Functions:

Works with directors, managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are planned effectively and completed on time and to specifications.

Works with department directors to organizes and assign work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and capacity.

Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsible for establishing and managing a regular cadence of project health check-ins, with both the project team and management.

Works with team leadership to create project timelines, and ensures individual tasks are understood and delegated accordingly.

Responsible for project budgets

Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for projects.

Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates, and tracks project spend against approved budget.

Conducts risk assessments and clearly surfaces any impediments on a frequent basis to management; provides recommended solutions for mitigation of risk.

Continuously addresses questions, concerns, and monitors team health throughout the project.

Communicates and collaborates with other internal Wilson teams to provide training and information required to promote and inform programs, and systems.

Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Skills:

Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other project management related software.

Experience:

5+ years project management experience required.

Experience managing an interdepartmental team with members from all levels of an organization preferred.

Education/Certification:

Bachelor-s degree in a related field such as Business or Project Managements required, or equivalent bachelor-s degree plus project management certification.

Preferred:

PMP certification a plus

Familiarity with Agile best practices

Experience working in the Education or educational publishing industry a plus.

Wilson has identified the anticipated pay range for this role based on the many factors that we consider in defining compensation levels for our roles, including market data, and internal equity considerations. Actual pay, and allocation between base and any target discretionary bonus, will vary based on geographic location, education, work experience, skills, market data, and internal equity considerations. Anticipated Salary range: $100,000 - 131,000.
