The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie has been caring for children throughout the Hudson Valley for over 175 years! We are excited to announce that we are opening a Children's Mental Health Clinic program in Ulster County, New York! This new level of service is an outpatient mental health clinic for children ages 5 to 21 and their families. We are currently seeking a dynamic

Clinician

for this new program.$2,000 hiring bonus to be paid out incrementally over the course of 1 year. Subject to tax withholdings and appropriate 403b deductions, contributions and payroll deductions.Position Summary:The Clinician will provide evidenced-based ongoing individual, family and group counseling at the Children's Mental Health Clinic(s) in Ulster County. This position functions as a part of a multidisciplinary team, under the direct supervision of the Clinic Supervisor.Schedule:

Minimum 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with rotating on-call responsibilitiesLocation:

MINIMUM Qualifications:Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling

LMSW, LCSW, LMHC or license eligible

One (1) year of experience providing evidence-based treatments for a variety of mental health and behavioral diagnoses for children, adolescents, and adults

Valid NYS Driver License in good condition as determined by the Agency

Must complete and pass a pre-employment physical, PPD and drug screen and an annual physical and PPD.

PREFERRED Qualifications:Three (3) years of experience providing evidence-based treatments for a variety of mental health and behavioral diagnoses for children, adolescents, and adults

Strong written and oral communication skills

Experience with Medicaid/managed care and other types of client billings.
