This is a leadership role that will manage a team of Business and/or Commercial Bankers driving accountability to acquire, expand and retain banking relationships.#LI-JR1Responsibilities
In this role, you will get to:* Actively lead and manage performance for a team, ensuring operational soundness while executing on a plan to deliver results that create value for the customer, and meet the financial goals of the bank* Utilize leadership skills to drive accountability of expectations. Actively participate in calling efforts with the team, representing the Bank in the community* Develop and implement sales strategies to accomplish short-term and long-term financial objectives, based on Executive strategic direction. Sales results should align with the needs of the community and ultimately support the organizational commitment to diverse lending* Be an active partner of the credit team and provide guidance to the team in order to maintain strong credit quality and effective deal processing* Maintain productive working relationships with Business Services partners and other corporate divisions; beneficially bringing sales partners into client relationships to manage the total financial services relationship for our customers and prospectsQualifications
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years commercial or business lending, credit or business development, or financial services management-Or-High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 12 years commercial or business lending, credit or business development, or financial services managementAdditional Requirements:Strong financial analysis skills.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience leading a business or commercial banking sales teamSales planning and forecasting, Financial analysis, Credit underwriting, Business development, Networking and building centers of influenceThe base pay for this position is generally between $167,130 and $256,266. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.First Citizens benefits programs are designed to meet our associates where they are in life.
