Under the supervision of the director/manager or designee, the registered nurse provides holistic, individualized patient care in response to identified needs of the general medical/surgical patient. Additional functions will be performed in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization.Our Registered Nurses raise the bar by providing clinical expertise and the highest quality care, in the most compassionate way. As a specialized unit, working in our Orthro Neurology Spine unit, you can expect to provide healing to a variety of diagnoses from patients with epilepsy, stroke, neurological spine surgeries, orthopedic surgeries and other disorders. The diversity of Ortho and Neuro will provide constant learning and the ability to approach each patient with confidence. What qualifications you will need:
Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing required.Bachelor's degree, or current enrollment in a Baccalaureate or Master's in program1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting preferredCurrent RN licensure by the State of Texas or from a compact state if you declare the compact state your primary state of residence requiredBasic Life Support (BLS) requiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.RN Specialty certification preferred
