This position is for weekends 3rd shift Friday-Sunday.

Job DescriptionPerforms ultrasound procedures at the entry level requiring knowledge of anatomical positioning and physiology. Must be able to perform high quality ultrasound examination for interpretation by a physician on children, adolescents and adults.

Graduation from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or ARRT (S) required at the time of employment. One year experience in performing ultrasound diagnostic procedures preferred.

Or

Graduation from a non-accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Must be registered with ARRT(S) at time of employment. Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) preferred. Experience preferred.

Additional Job DescriptionEducation: Graduation from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Work Experience: 5 years for support or 0-2 years for professionalCertification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or certification eligible upon graduation from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (must be certified within 18 months of hire). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
