We are seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist specializing in Mammography for a temporary locum tenens position in Asheboro, North Carolina, starting November 1st. The ideal candidate will be proficient in interpreting and performing diagnostic breast imaging, including 3D and digital mammography, breast ultrasounds, and stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies. Qualifications
Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist specializing in Mammography (REQUIRED)Active North Carolina medical license and DEA (REQUIRED)BLS/ACLS Certified (REQUIRED)Clean background with no malpractice historyExpertise in breast imaging diagnostic procedures
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm schedule; flexibility for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday if preferred
Working Environment:Main Hospital and MRI Center located in Asheboro, NC

Experience using Meditech EMR, Intelerad PACS, and Fluency VR systemsStrong diagnostic skills in a range of breast imaging and biopsy proceduresVolume: Approximately 30 patients per day, including screeners and diagnosticsSystems used: Meditech (EMR), Intelerad (PACS), Fluency (VR)
