We are looking for

Controller

to join our clinics! The controller is responsible for all operations of accounting included but not limited to billing and collections, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, grant compliance, revenue recognition, and various analyses and other normal and customary accounting services required for the operations of an Interdisciplinary Healthcare organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Monitor a company's financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Implement and maintain consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures.Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new processes.Create maintain and coordinate with department managers on operating budgets based on historical data future trend analysis.Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statementsCoordinate activities of external auditors.Coordinate with the senior grant accountant to maintain Federal budgets and financial reporting requirements.Provide recommendations to the CFO, as and when necessary, to strategically enhance the financial performance of the Company.Prepare and provide management with information vital to the decision-making process.Ensures that all State tax returns and required renewals are filed on a timely basis.Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and in compliance with GAAP and all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial transactions and financial reporting.Develop and mentor the Accounting and Billing Team through job coaching, counseling, and training.Develop internal controls and create work efficiencies.Complete projects to improve and enhance the organization's fiscal department.Attend department and All Staff meetings and other meetings as requested.Participate in/coordinate quality improvement/control projects as requested.Requires adherence to all policies, standards and procedures included in the Admin, Clinical and HR Manuals and the agency Code of Conduct.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting/Finance or closely related field.8 years' experience in accounting and 2 years supervisory experience.Proven experience as a Controller or a similar management role.Experience with a computerized accounting system.Equivalent experience and education may be substituted.Skills:

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. Abila/MIP).Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.Strong leadership skills with experience managing and directing an accounting team.An analytical mind with a strategic ability.Project management experience.
