Geriatrician

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Geriatric Medicine, is seeking applications for a Geriatrician. Applicants must have an M.D. degree or equivalent from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of a Geriatrics Fellowship from an ACGME-accredited program. Candidates must be eligible for Texas medical licensure and be board certified in Internal Medicine. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Appointment requires a track record of demonstrated excellence as a clinician and educator. Duties include providing outpatient care to patients in our Care of the Vulnerable Elderly house calls program. This faculty member will serve as a preceptor and provide training to fellows, residents and medical students.This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.To learn more about the benefits UT Southwestern offers, visit
