The CBHC Stabilization Clinician provides urgent care services in the form of crisis planning, stabilization, assessment, and short term treatment to support a client in the stabilization and initial treatment process. Working with others in the CBHC realm, you will deliver solution-focused clinical interventions and treatment for clients and families as indicated for crisis management and resolution until continued stabilization services are in place.

Responsibilities:Conduct diagnostic evaluations, stabilization interventions, and stabilization planning for clients and families experiencing an acute and urgent need for behavioral healthcare.Provide urgent care services including crisis planning, stabilization, and short term treatment to support a client in the stabilization process.Provide side by side interventions to individuals/families that focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement.Provide interventions in the office, virtually, in the community and in client's residences based on client preference, client need, and at the clinical direction of the urgent care team.Complete evaluation processes when clinically appropriate to assess for safety, determine services needed, determine level of intervention including community planning, community based services, immediate interventions, and the need for hospitalization.Develop treatment plans that include follow up supports to a client and/or family that focus on stabilization, usage of other Eliot triage/CBHC staff, and utilize short term clinical supports.Provide direct short term, solution focused clinical intervention and treatment for clients and families as indicated for crisis management and resolution over the course of several days until longer term services are in place and/or acuity has subsided.Complete NOMs assessment as appropriate and assigned.Participate in evidence-based trainings including but not limited to Zero Suicide, CBT modalities targeting symptoms, DBT, PE, CR, EMDR, FST, TF-CBT, CAMS, family therapies, integrated dual diagnosis treatment, self-management plans, and other clinical interventions.When applicable, arrange for hospital admission when clinically necessary and when less restrictive, community-based treatment options are insufficient or have been exhausted.Collaborate on post-discharge planning, and provide post-discharge clinical follow-up as appropriate from emergency room referrals and from hospital referrals.Maintain ongoing communication with triage department while in the field, providing clinical information, treatment recommendations and any potential obstacles.Qualifications:

Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Rehab Counseling, related field or is licensed at the independent level in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; or a Doctorate in Psychology from an accredited university/college and licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.Strong diagnostic skills, competence in crisis intervention, ability to develop short term interventions to support clients/families, and engagement strategies.Must be able to quickly establish rapport with wide range of clinical presentations. Knowledge of the vast array of community resources and how to access them.Computer literacy and skill in the use of computers and related software applications.Ability to consistently meet all necessary background and credentialing requirements. Must have reliable telephone notification system for emergency contact, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Salary:

Masters only (Days): $70,000Masters only (Overnight): $75,000Licensed (Days): $75,000Licensed (Overnight): $80,000Schedule's Available:

Monday - Friday, 1pm-9pmMonday- Friday, 3pm-11p
