Viwinco is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and enhance our procurement strategies. In this role, you will focus on strengthening our supply chain through effective vendor partnerships, risk management, and inventory optimization. You will drive initiatives to improve reliability, quality control, and cost efficiency, ensuring a seamless and effective procurement process. Strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset are essential to excel in this position.

Responsibilities include but are not

limited to:

Hires, develops, and directs buyer group that controls direct and indirect spend.Exhibit the ability to perform the essential duties of a buyer while providing support and guidance as needed.Develop & audit standard work to ensure consistent and effective purchasing practices.Cultivate & maintain relationships with suppliers at all organizational levels. Demand high levels of service and quality at the lowest possible total cost of use. Maintain objective, professional, and ethical relations with the supplier base. Sell suppliers on the advantages of doing business with Viwinco.Assist in the negotiation and administration of contracts consistent with policies and objectives. Maintain all strategic suppliers' contracts, ensuring all legally binding and auditable elements are accurately documented and retained.Regularly review pricing across suppliers and materials. Communicate pricing and price changes in a timely manner to all required personnel. Research, develop, and present opportunities to reduce material costs and inventory levels.Execute problem solving to identify root cause issues and sustainable corrective action.Develop and implement data-driven strategies by analyzing procurement metrics, market trends, and supplier performance; build predictive models to optimize procurement processes and drive MRP enhancement, cost-efficiency and operational effectiveness.Collaborates with our internal stakeholders (e.g. Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, Materials) to ensure the highest level of service.Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to ensure uninterrupted production and delivery.Ensure achievement, monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement team performance and success.Further, execute on daily management system to make certain problems are identified and actioned.Conduct on-site visits with key suppliers to align objectives and support continued growth through our strategic partnerships.Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to continually improve procurement strategies.Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field with an emphasis in Purchasing/ Supply Chain preferredProven experience in procurement, with a track record of cost savings and process improvements.Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.Ability to build and develop capabilities of direct reportsExcellent negotiation and contract management skills.Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with procurement software and systems, with the ability to adapt to an in-house MRPExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Unmatched sense of urgency
