Position Overview

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the role is responsible for designing and executing a procurement strategy that aligns with PolyNovo's objectives, optimizes return on investment (ROI), capitalizes on market opportunities, and fosters company growth. Leveraging the company's ERP systems and P2P processes, the position focuses on enhancing supply chain efficiency through data analysis, reliable forecasting methodologies, and sourcing strategies which mitigate risks associated with manufacturing production lead times and single source purchasing. The role also entails delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and locally relevant procurement, tendering, and reportingservices which ensure the continuity and growth of dependable, sustainable supply partnerships essential to PolyNovo's success.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end procurement operations for non-production-related materials and services, ensuring strict adherence to policies and regulations.Manage ERP inventory transactions including raising purchase orders for non-production-related materials and services.Vet and/or identify alternative suppliers for non-stock or one-off capital purchasesCollaborate with the Supply Chain team to leverage on similar expenditures across categories and suppliers, thereby improving supply chain efficiencies.Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive procurement strategies capable of delivering best value in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.Proactively identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate disruptions, including developing contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies.Negotiate and manage supplier contracts and manage key supplier relationships.Deliver cost targets and project(s) to budget.Establish major supply agreements utilizing best practice strategic sourcing principles to ensure the organization leverages its overall purchasing power.Monitor and continuously improve supplier performance using corporate appraisal systems while building a database of suitable alternatives via cross functional evaluation.Participate in new product development and project groups to ensure timely launches to budget.Collaborate with other departments, e.g., QA, Regulatory and Finance, to identify and qualify new suppliers.Collaborate closely with the global team to ensure procurement activities are executed systematically and promptly in all markets.Ensure collaborative relationships with PolyNovo team members and external stakeholders.Ensure all documentation is reviewed, current and compliant with the quality system.Assist in audits and maintain accurate documentation for regulatory purposes.Comply with all company quality standards, procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements.Operate within the requirements of the quality system and ensure responsibilities are conducted in accordance with the requirements of the applicable regulatory and quality processes.Minimum requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain, international business studies, or related field.5+ years experience in strategic sourcing and procurement.Extensive experience in a professional procurement leadership role, including people management, preferably in a multi-national organization.Proven track record of implementing procurement strategies and delivering value and cost savings through the associated sourcing activities, directly and through others.Sound understanding of supply chain and commercial risk management including experience of contract drafting and negotiation.Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Solution minded, collaborative team player who is motivated to make things happen.MYOB experience (preferred).Exceptional ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a small team environment.Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and preferably including ERP experience.Ability to be agile in change management and transformation.Acceptable candidate locations
