We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Pharmacy Team in our bustling mail order environment. This will be a hybrid role, with the main function as a Pharmacy Technician (80% or more) and a limited function as an Inventory Coordinator (20% or less).

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a pivotal role in pharmacy support, assistance to the pharmacists, patients, and providers. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will help maintain appropriate inventory levels to support pharmacy operations.

Shift details: Full-time role with a schedule of Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, with weekend rotation every 4 weeks.

Key Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in accurately dispensing medications and preparing prescriptions.Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and expiration date monitoring.Process prescription orders, inputting information accurately into the computer system.Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.Maintain organized and clean workspaces, including the pharmacy counter and storage areas.Handle insurance claims and process billing information for prescription orders.Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of information.Help with the packaging and labeling of medications for distribution.Follow pharmacy regulations and protocols to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on pharmacy practices and developments.Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and medication management.Key Inventory Coordinator Responsibilities

Coordinate inventory activities in collaboration with the Lead Pharmacist and Lead Technician.Maintain appropriate inventory levels to support pharmacy operations, ensuring supplies meet daily needs.Create, review, and manage inventory orders for pharmaceutical products and non-pharmaceutical supplies.Maintain accurate and organized records, including daily posting of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), posting received products from wholesalers and manufacturers, and processing inventory transfers between multiple dispensing locations.Organize and retain all invoices, receipts, and return authorizations related to inventory activities.Complete pharmacy inventory activities, including managing recalls, vendor returns, non-controlled substances, and damaged/salvage returns, in compliance with the Pharmacy Hazardous Waste Policy.Facilitate excess inventory returns or inter-pharmacy transfers/returns as needed.Ensure the accuracy of on-hand quantities for all pharmaceutical products.Collaborate with the Pharmacy Technician Trainer to ensure all employees are trained in product selection optimization to maximize inventory management.Utilize multiple wholesaler platforms to ensure the best pricing and product availability.Monitor shipping carrier schedules and maintain communication with carrier contacts to ensure timely package pickups and deliveries.Qualifications:

Pharmacy Technician certification is required; assistance can be provided in obtaining this certification. If not certified, you must be on track to be certified within 90 days.Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.Ability to work effectively with pharmacy teams and vendors.Knowledge of pharmacy inventory management practices and wholesaler platforms.Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and reporting.Experience in working within a pharmacy environment is preferred.High School Diploma or equivalentOur Offer:
